Justine Garrett is a director, writer, producer, and educator with over twenty years of experience in media. Her diverse portfolio includes XR, documentary, children's media, film/TV, immersive theatre, and app development. Projects include Groundworks documentary for PBS (Writer, Producer); Captain Me kids’ series (Director, Producer); Transmission XR app & stage play (Edinburgh Fringe Future Play Festival; Writer); and No Greater Love documentary for PBS (Emmy Award; Production Team & Researcher). She teaches in the UTM Dept. of English & Drama and the TMU Scriptwriting & Story Design MFA Program. Originally from LA, she lives in Toronto with her partner in life and producing, Ian, and their two kids Miles and Henrietta.
